Andrew Carlson, CEO

Andrew Carlson was named chief executive officer at Select Rehabilitation Hospital of Denton in 2020. He is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the hospital, ensuring the overall quality and safety of care, regulatory compliance, financial management and the strategic growth of the organization.

He joined Select Medical in 2011 and served as chief executive officer of Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation – Chester in New Jersey. During his tenure, he helped lead the hospital to the #2 ranking among the nation’s “Best Hospitals” for rehabilitation by U.S. News and World Report.

Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree from Davidson College and master’s degrees in business administration and health administration from Georgia State University. He completed his administrative residency at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation.
